Deferred loan payments
Australian banks have announced they will offer to defer loan repayments for Queenslanders and NSW residents who have been affected by severe flooding. Some helpful links below.

Telstra has a range of assistance packages to help everyone, not just customers, as well as long- and short-term packages for affected customers.

TPG/Vodafone flood relief
TPG's also offering relief to its customers during this trying time.

How can I donate to my local community?
Well-meaning community members are being urged not to donate unwanted goods to NSW communities affected by recent storms and floods. If you want to donate goods or financial support, you can do so via GIVIT, Red Cross Australia or Vinnies.
GIVIT is maintaining a list of exactly what’s needed right now. The list changes as requests are filled, and new needs are identified by support organisations providing aid and relief. 100% of publicly donated funds received by GIVIT will be used to purchase exactly what's needed by people and communities impacted by storms and flooding.
